Install the MCP server

One address to paste, one sign-in to GoRare, and you are done.

In the gemini.google.com app, Google currently limits custom apps to US accounts. Gemini CLI is not tied to that limit and is free with a Google account (needs Node.js).

Questions about the MCP server

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant use outside tools. Once the GoRare MCP server is connected, ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini can look up your Sorare portfolio, prices, real sales and the market by themselves, instead of guessing.

Is it safe? How do I disconnect it?

You sign in to GoRare through OAuth: your assistant never sees your password or your Sorare credentials, and it can only read your data and manage your watchlist. You can cut off an assistant at any time from Settings, Connected AI assistants, in GoRare.

Why is it in beta?

The server is open to every account, but assistants change their connector menus often and we are still adding tools. Some steps may look slightly different from this guide. Tell us on Discord if something does not match.

Do I need a Sorare account?

Yes. You sign in to GoRare with your Sorare account so the assistant can see your cards. Market questions work for every account, your portfolio questions use your own cards.
